From heart to heart
LABIEŠI
YOUR HOLIDAY CHOICE
WELCOME TO LABIEŠI
Aura of Labieši fills with light, goodness and harmony - we have tested it!
This is the right place to clear up your mind!
Labieši houses are located in a nature park just 15 minutes drive from Riga, in Sala parish on the river bank. Being with us, the proximity of Riga is forgotten, and nature enters the heart.
We are true lovers of everything natural. The houses of Labieši are built from real logs, but the wide glazed windows and terraces bring the natural landscape into the rooms. Enjoy our peace in any weather - both summer and winter!
A country sauna and a refreshing swim in the pond or river, or relaxation in the hot tub will allow your body and spirit get clean and pure.
Here you can take a walk in a beautiful pine forest or country meadows, read a book on a silent river bank, pick mushrooms, berries or flowers, fish, swim, ride a bike, boat or soup, drink afternoon tea in a distant romantic tea-pavilion, or simply enjoy silence and peace.
The charm of Labieši lies in the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Here the nature sounds are accompanied by songs of birds and forest, which can be heard throughout day and night. This is the place to enjoy the silence:
- Use of sound amplifiers is prohibited
- Loud noise or any disturbance of peace is prohibited between 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.
PIECE AND SILENCE
WE RECOMMEND
We also have our own beehive, where our calm and good-natured bees feel very good! Our sea buckthorn grove and vast meadows are a paradise for bees. But where are bees, there is harmony and peace. We recommend you to taste our pure and natural honey and locally grown vegetables!
HISTORY OF LABIEŠI HOUSE
The house of Labieši was mentioned in historical records as early as 1800. In the 1930s, Labieši was a wealthy farm with a well-kept plant nursery and a horse stable. Here were wide glass greenhouses for grapes, as well as flowering plants, sea buckthorn and black currants. We - the current owners of Labieši - are proud of our history and have returned these houses to their former glory.
Wikipedia: Labieši (Latin: meliorēs) is a designation used in the Indrikis Chronicle for Latvian nobles until the 14-15th century. (Pēteris Valters. History of state and law in concepts and terms. Riga: SIA "Divergens", 2001. 12. p. ISBN 9789984929613).
